Cabins 2, 3, and 4 found the spot perfectly - On top of the Leaking Tower of Paldea. Cabin 1 found the spot perfectly, but put their pin on the wall of the mountain instead of the tower. It was decided they get the 2nd place points for being right but just barely off.

Super Mario Odyssey Live Map Rankings: 
1st - Cabin 1, 2, and 4 (30 points) 
4th - Cabin 3 (5 points) 

Cabins 1, 2, and 4 found the spot perfectly - On the Captain Toad Island in the east side of the Wooded Kingdom, specifically in the bottom right corner. Cabin 3 submitted a spot in the Wooded kingdom that was about right in the middle of the kingdom, and were way off compared to everyone else.

All submissions go into the respective submission channel for your cabin. Entries will not count unless they are posted there. Only submissions should be placed in that channel. Keep all of your submissions in one message if the character limit permits. Use image links (from Discord, imgur, etc.) instead of directly uploading to the channel when posting images. All discussion should be held in your cabin's main Discord channel.

If you need an extension on the deadline for whatever reason, talk to Bossvelt and Thundawave about it beforehand. All entries submitted past the deadline will only be counted for participation points and will NOT place if they would have otherwise.

A Smash Camp tradition - our leaders and crew have compiled an evil guess-the-song competition! Timestamps of each song have been provided on the page linked below. The songs are from mixed genres, including but most definitely not limited to pop, alternative, rock, video games, and anime.

Contest Guidelines

  • As a cabin, complete the list of songs that you can guess to the best of your ability.
  • YOU MAY NOT GOOGLE LYRICS OR USE AUDIO-DETECTING SOFTWARE. You MAY NOT ask for outside help. You can, however, Google a song you think might be the one you're listening to.
  • This challenge is due on Wednesday at 11:59 EDT. Counselors, please use the Google Doc for the medley found in your cabin folders to use as the submission.
  • Fill out your guesses in "Artist - Song" format.  If it is in any other format, the guess will not count. Our sanity thanks you for your compliance.

When adding guesses to your cabin's Google Doc, you MUST include your name alongside your contributions.


2 points will be awarded for each correct title and artist/game/anime/creator named. 1 point will be awarded if only the correct title or artist/game/anime/creator is named.

Additionally, cabin performance will be awarded with placement bonuses.
1st place will be awarded 200 points
2nd place will be awarded 150 points
3rd place will be awarded 100 points

Infinite Craft



Campers, I'm very excited today to let you all know we will playing infinite craft. You will all be breaking out into your cabins individually to attempt to craft the most chosen words using the most fun, expected, and mind-boggling combinations. For context, infinite craft is a fun sandbox game that can be played entirely in a web browser. At the beginning of the game you will receive 4 elements: water, fire, air and earth. By connecting 2 blocks you get a new block that is added to your collection, so you can get millions of different combinations.

For this challenge, the rules are simple:

- Each cabin will pick a time block of 60 minutes today for their cabin to compete
- A leader will post the list of words and their point values into your cabin's personal document at the start of the 60 minute time block
- Only words you complete and screenshot/stream during that time will count
- Words will be varying point amounts based on difficulty
- UP TO 7 CAMPERS MAY BE CREATING WORDS AT A TIME (YOU MAY SUB SOMEONE NEW IN IF SOMEONE SUBS OUT)
- Any of the actively 7 participating camper can compete and create words during that time (they may arrive late or leave early as long as the max is respected)
- Non participating Campers may join the vc and help out verbally
- Every camper will stream or screenshot they have an empty board with only the 4 base elements at the beginning
- SPACES AND CASE SENSITIVTY DOES NOT MATTER FOR THE WORDS
- Any attempt to cheat, share words, etc. will be punished severely (I have some tricks to tell)

Scavenger Hunt (Day 2)

A staple of Smash Camp that we're excited to bring back this year! For this event, we will provide a list of items that each camper will need to find and take a picture of in real life. Find them, take a picture of them (with the required proof - see below), and get some points! You will earn 5 points for each picture submitted, with an extra 5 bonus points available for specific items.

Contest Guidelines

  • You may only take photos of these items in person (in your house, at a store, wherever as long as you're physically with the item). It cannot be a screenshot or an image from the internet.
  • Your photo absolutely must be accompanied by a slip of paper with your username and cabin number on it.
  • In the past we've been lenient with the validity of submissions that were not totally accurate but showed effort and/or creativity. This year, we will only accept submissions that are accurate as to what we're requesting (e.g. if we ask for a lime, we wouldn't accept a lemon that's been painted green).
  • Bonus points will be available for one or more items per day. These points will be awarded at the discretion of camp staff for submissions that meet the bonus requirements.

Today's items are the following:
  • Non-Pokemon video game merch/item (Not the box/video game itself) Bonus if the merch is of a character actively wielding a sword/blade
  • A swimming pool (KIDDIE POOLS AND ABOVE GROUND POOLS COUNT; HOT TUBS, JACUZIS, BATHTUBS, AND NATURAL BODIES OF WATER DO NOT COUNT)Bonus if empty
  • A minion themed item (FROM DESPICABLE ME)

Picture Quiz (Day 2)

Work together as a cabin to identify the meaning of a series of images. For example, if we gave you the following images:

A potential answer could be "hot dog". Counselors (or a chosen representative) will include their cabin's guesses in their daily submission before midnight. Cabins will net 15 points for each correct answer and 5 points for solid guesses. The images for today can be found HERE!

Tournaments are well underway! Many games have already been completed, but there are still matches to be had - make sure to get them done before you get disqualified!
